NM-Sen: Martin Heinrich (D) Mounts Pressure On Senate GOP To Reveal Their Secret ACA Repeal Plan

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich’s (D. NM) re-election campaign:

Because of supporters like you, my campaign reached our fundraising goal just before midnight. I cannot thank you enough for your support as we fight together to move New Mexico and our progressive values forward.

And right now we’re in a critical time where we must stand together. Senate Republican leadership is crafting their version of Trumpcare in secret. Even many Republican senators do not know what is in this bill.

They are playing politics with people’s lives and putting one-sixth of our economy at risk.
 

That’s why we must stand together now and raise our voices to demand Senate Republicans show us the bill and allow proper time for debate. Sign my petition and tell the Senate Republicans: Show us the bill!

Senate Republicans have promised President Trump that they would pass their bill before July 4. That leaves NO time to properly review, debate, and add amendments to their plan -- all of which Republicans have taken off the table.

Their bumper sticker slogans have led to this disgraceful effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act, regardless of the lives it will hurt.
 

We must stand united against the Republican plan and demand they release the bill and allow proper debate. Sign my petition and raise your voice against the Republican health care plan!
